The following Microsoft document talks about common log-shipping questions in
SQL Server. The point that I find most interesting about this document is the
requirement of Enterprise Edition or Developers Edition. This is a common
mis-conception. To AUTOMATICALLY configure logshipping through enterprise
manager, this is a requirement. HOWEVER, logshipping can be manually configured
on 7.0/2000. In fact, I find you have more control over logshipping if you do
it manually.
